Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This role demands strong experience in DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and cloud services, along with an active AWS or Azure Cloud Certification.
This Position is a hybrid work environment / 95% Remote – Candidate must live within 2 hours of a government Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Monitor and improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate system provisioning and configuration.
- Ensure system reliability and uptime across all environments.
- Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and scaling.
- Maintain program presence for a minimum of one year.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Math, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or DevOps.
- AWS or Azure Cloud Certification (required).
- Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Demonstrated hands-on coding experience in automation and deployment scripts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
