Position Summary:

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Leadership Training Instructors to deliver a series of federally focused, onsite leadership seminars to Marine Corps Civilian employees in the National Capital Region. This opportunity supports a contract issued by the Human Resources and Organizational Management (HROM) Branch for the Marine Corps, with services to be delivered at the Pentagon and Marine Corps Base Quantico.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver group-based, educational seminars in strict alignment with the PWS-defined topics:

    • Strategic Leadership for Federal Employees

    • Building and Managing High Performance Teams

    • Managing People, Processes, and Policies

    • Leadership and Accountability

    • Leadership Toolkit

    • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving

  • Design and develop the course curriculum for each seminar topic, including instructional content, exercises, and participant materials.

  • Engage participants using effective adult learning techniques such as case studies, multimedia, group exercises, and interactive discussion.

  • Maintain strict adherence to government policies regarding no individual consulting, coaching, or follow-up services.

  • Submit all presentation and course materials in advance and provide printed handouts for all participants on the day of training.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience instructing federal or military leadership development courses.

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the seminar topics listed above.

  • Knowledge of the federal government workplace, its leadership needs, and federal regulations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Public Administration, Education, or related field (Master’s or certifications preferred).

  • Must provide a resume and documentation of credentials, certifications, and prior relevant teaching experience.
     

    Technical and Instructional Competencies:

  • Mastery of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.

  • Skilled in using multimedia tools and interactive instruction in large group settings.

  • Capable of engaging mid-level to senior federal employees with professionalism and authority.

  • Ability to independently develop course materials aligned with government objectives and performance expectations.
